The Dance

Can you see my heart beating through my blazing eyes or through my skin feel the echo of my sighs As your lips trace the hollows of my neck I know that I should stop you but my mind says what the heck Your hands upon my body leaves me breathless, yet on fire Looking in your eyes I tingle with desire My body betrays me quickly knowing what's in store All shyness set aside as my hands boldly explore Gently touching places I knowingly touched before Your hands glide sweetly over me and I ache to have more My body answers willingly in full gasping replies I hold you closely to me and slowly close my eyes Passion builds as my heart trills eagerly needing to be one Once the dance has started we can't stop until the song is done Our music playing faster in a rhythm danced for years Esctasy so powerful that it brings us both to tears We reached a high-point where our souls have touched the stars My mind has left my body as it dances from afar Kissing you so deeply thankful for the love that we have found The dance is silently slowing my feet back on the ground Wrap your arms around me as I drift off to sleep Save all your dances for me upon your dance list sheet Written March 22nd, 2002 © on Mar 22 2002 12:42 AM PST   0 • 16
