The Warmth Of His Love
By Silver Angel
My inspiration to write Is unbelieveably strong I gaze across the room My eyes gleefully rest on My love My life My partner My husband The other half of me I smile as he snores In his sleep My eyes tear And I thank The powers that be That he is here with me Where would I be Without him Without his smile His love Without his arms Around my soul I would be lost Adrift at sea Never being able to dock Never being able to walk Upon the shore of his love again He is my love In life And so shall he be my love In death He'll always be The part of me That is true happiness May neither of see death For a long, long time I still feel electricity Between us It's so strong As strong as the day we met I still get butterflies inside When I look in his eyes He still has the power To take my breath away With his kiss He is still the only one Who can calm my fears And dry my tears May I always be engulfed In the warmth of his loveI was asked by quite a few people to put this poem on it's own web site. I am not sure that it is all that good to do that. What do you think? Written November 16th, 2001 © on Nov 16 2001 12:45 AM PST 0 • 8
