NeverLand
By silver
I want to lift myself above on wings, Only to discover that my childhood things, Aren't real. My wings were in my mind, But I can still see them so clearly. Almost as if I could fly again, If only I could still clap my hands, With Peter Pan, For Tinkerbell, And say, "Believe." Was it called Neverland for a reason, Or only a challenge, To make it never, Daring us not to hold onto hope, Of fairy dust, And mermaid lagoons, daring for us not to believe?
