[What power,]
By silver
What power, Gives us the right, To disbelieve the smiles, Offered so freely? Don't trust the one's, Who always seem to be laughing, Or they will laugh at you. Bread and butter, Free family dinner, For disabled children... They helped make the food. As I volunteered I saw something amazing, That made me think twice, None of them tried to decieve me, If you asked they answered happily... Maybe it isn't human nature, That makes us lie and cheat, Maybe it's the suspicion, That you aren't really right, That you are always wrong. We stamp out our own bright lights, We force them to conform, Maybe it's time to lower our standards, We seem to hold so dear, Truth is always given freely, If there is nothing to fear, Don't punish them for doing right... Don't make them cover up there faults... Maybe it's time, To walk naked... Society could use a good scare.not well written...i'll revise it later.
