spirit found

i have danced when i could not walk   i have joyfully sang when i could not talk. i have bowed before gods and kings   i have done this on top of angel wings. i heard the dreaded voices and cried out with fear   i heard the dreaded voices when i could not hear. i seen the angels on the day that they fell   i have been to their abode in a place called hell. i seen the one who was mighty and great   on that dreadful day when he sealed his fate. now known as the prince and power of air   with the head of a flatten bull and long shaggy hair. through the winds he did utter my name   though i be sinful, who is to blame? through my weakness i invited him in me   looking through a tinted glass i could not see. seeking knowledge i did once fear   only because i knew he was near. lying in wait as a lion would do   stalking me as prey, and this i knew. lucifer smiling and sitting on his throne   and me in front of him standing all alone. at that moment i remembered the blood that was shed   so i fell on my face as one that was dead. i prayed to the father in heaven above   and the spirit descended upon me in the form of a dove. but before, the river styx i did cross   through the boggy swamps and hanging moss. the souls of those who did bad things   the torture they endured was as a scorpion sting. the stone and fire and narrow pathways   where all the souls are held at bay. the fear of falling in the lake below   for whats in the water god only knows. the beast that stands before me waiting to swallow me whole   with giant fangs and eyes that glow. inching towards me with great care   feeling his breath through the musty air. one giant leap he did take   with me ducking as i could he fell into the lake. over the edge of the pathway i did look   and the beast was screaming as he was being cooked. looking ahead foward i did proceed   a sign with a warning i did not heed. "no living fleshh beyond this point"the sign read   "or you will become as one of the undead". ignoring the sign and climbing a stone   a voice screamed to me,"son of man, be gone". i picked up a pebble and started to throw   and the darkness around me started to glow. i turned and ran as fast as i can   when in front of me appeared another man. i asked the other man what he was doing here   he just smiled at me and told me not to fear. he was there to gather his souls   to save them from the burning coals. "all my children come out of this place" he did say   for unto you is salvation given this very day. for i have prepared a place for you in my fathers house   and there you will go no more out. all your sins did i bear   and it is for you that i do care. so the gates of hell were broken assunder   with a voice of authority as loud as thunder. the prince of hell opened his mouth in protest   he tried to keep the souls for himself, he tried his best he cried to adam to come out of hell   the first man created, the first man that fell. he cried to the other souls to come out of that place   he cried to the other souls that had fallen from grace. the captain of death and the prince of hell were in a debate   begging the lamb not to break the brass and iron gate. for the prince of hell was defeated and the battle won   for the evil was trodden under foot and there was no need to run. for now you see from sea to shinng sea   that there is jesus who died for you and me... © on Jun 05 2001 12:59 AM PST   0 • 12
