The Mirror

A single tear rolls down her face She is through with cryin The water fall that once flowed from her eyes has dried up She comes to the bathroom door and pauses Memories flow back to her of the poeple she thought she knew The poeple that she called friends She walked in and reluctenly looked in the mirror she saw a refelection she didn't recongnize Her face was painted with the mask of conformity She turned the water on and washed away the paint Suddenly a feeling of familiarity came over her She started to see a person she once knew She dried her face and looked back into the mirror Yes she could see it now Familiar blue eyes and blonde hair She no longer looked like everyone else She now had her own identity and mind And for the first time in 4 years she felt truly beautiful With a last look in the mirror she smiled The next day all of the make up and Abercrombie clothes were gone She didn't care to be like everyone else anymore She was finally happy with her life and her way of doing things She was more beautiful and more radient then ever The moral of this poem...be yourself and never change for anyonethis kinda happened to me a while ago and well i heard a song that made me think of this poem so here it is...
