I hear the rain falling outside   Pitter patter,pitter patter.   Like it is knocking to come in.   I already feel the stinging of tears.   As I scream into my pillow   Silently but I scream.   While tears flow from my eyes   like a waterfall.   And my sobs rack my body   with shivers and shakes.   I pull the covers up to my neck   and scream once more into my pillow   I thought I felt you reaching for me   but when I turn, you are not there   Just an empty place beside me   where i lay   My ears ache to hear you   call my name   No more ' I love you's '   no more kisses   There is an emptiness here   that will never go away   I long to see the sight   of you ,sometimes I think   I smell you, but when   I turn you are not there   My eyes mist up and   I think I see you there   then i blink an you are not   Was it my heart playing tricks on me   Oh yes it was   I'm sorry to say it was   I cant see you,feel you   hold you, or hear you anymore   I scream but this time a little louder   This time an i let the teardrops fall     I hug my pillow to me tightly   As my sobs rack my body   OH yes i let the rain in Written April 19th, 2002 © on Apr 19 2002 12:22 PM PST   0 • 1
