Gleaming eyes The sound of children’s laughter Beautiful life we lead Bright smiles The sight of little glaciers Captivated by the icy shores Satan’s dust Distorts my already quiet voice Ignorance becomes my source of happiness Shady thoughts You’ve forgotten what’s real Kill the danger of truth Every lie Every child Everyone rejecting what’s real But they can smile But they can pretend And no one can tell the difference You’ve eliminated all truth And I’ve given in… Forget what’s real… It only distorts my fake smile… Written April 15th, 2002 © on Apr 15 2002 12:22 PM PST   0 • 9
