Starve the misery

By Stolen Wings

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Damn the silence that overwhelms me when I sleep Crack it open with sobs and screams And yet forget to wake. Damn the ever following darkness Stabbing and burning at my flesh Break down and start to shake. Damn the people who pretend to care They strangle with their cold hard stares I have no tears left to give. Damn the hollow they call a soul Starve the misery, drowning and cold Damning the will to live.Hmmm..Eating disorders anyone? Written March 28th, 2002 © on Mar 28 2002 07:06 AM PST   0 • 1
