a poem for the cashier, #2
By SubwayBoi
You seldom laugh when others do, You have few words to say. The sour look upon your face, That rarely goes away. You come to work and every time, They stick you at the cash. Your hopes to go and sell some clothes, Removed in one bright flash. I stare at you when I get time, Your eyes as bright as stars. I want to talk to you but I Just watch you from afar. Sometimes I see a smile break Upon your pretty face. You move so smoothly through the world, With such an awesome grace. Your beauty hidden underneath Your coldness and your fear. To think that we will never talk, It makes me shed a tear. You'll never find out how I feel, As we so rarely speak. I'll simply stare at you from here, And let my feelings peak.aaaaaaaahhhhhh Written December 22nd, 2001 © on Dec 22 2001 06:06 AM PST 0 • 8
