any old bar

By SubwayBoi

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

ackward silence starts the night loud music blasts your ears you check your coat and look around and order your first beer if beer you hate, there's other drinks whatever suits your taste there's snacks to eat and room to dance so drink on up now, post haste the night goes on till half-past one and tensions melt away then everyone seeks out a mate be they straight, or bi, or gay for those that god has chosen and has blessed with pretty faces they're taken home by other drunks to their respective places for those that god has tossed aside and left them there to rot they'll go home alone, but come back soon like some bar fly robotI don't know where I was going with this, hence why it's short. Enjoy, or die. Written January 8th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 11:29 AM PST   0 • 9
