fork over your soul
By SubwayBoi
I've tried to be patient, I've tried to be fair, But I'm getting angry, And you just don't care. I've asked you so nicely, I've been oh-so-kind, I'm simply collecting, What you know is mine. Though we had a contract, You just aren't complying. You got what you wanted, Now I feel like crying. You thought you could trick me, The ol' Prince of Darkness. And you were successful, You're so full of harshness. I fulfilled your dreams, Gave you money and fame. But you won't fork over, What I own by name. I now own your soul, But you won't give in. This battle is over, And I guess you win. You once told me something, That made me quite blue. "No one has a soul, "No, not even you." It's true what you said, No one has a soul. Their very existence, A silly black hole. It's really quite random, That you came to life. That you had three children, And such a sweet wife. You knew of my plan here, To win you right over. Your truthful assertion, It's made me quite sober. I can't have your soul, So I shall retire. Remind me to never, Make deals with a liar. This is basically the devil pleading with someone to give them their soul. I hope it makes some sense.
