The family diner that Kevin's dad runs, Has hit just a bit of a slump. The local inspector feels sick as a dog, And labels the place as a dump. Though father is sure that his diner will live, He's in for a bit of surprise. It seems that his son - namely Kevin Korchuk - Is just hooked on those Big Macs and fries. Though Kevin has worked at the diner, the dump, He didn't mind helping his Pa. But he wants a place he can call his McOwn, And serve up chicken and pizza. Though father is hurt he gives Kevin his best, "You're in for a rough ride there, honey." His father explains as he bursts into tears, "You won't get a cent of my money!" The banks aren't exactly Mr. Korchuk's best friends, They think he's a bit of a clown. When his strapping young lad wants to start his McPlace, One by one, they all turn him down. And quickly the diner of dad's closes down, Inspectors refuse to be hushed. And Kevin's McDream fades away with the wind, So father and son are both crushed.Just a little something I had to write for school. Nothing too meaningful, but kind of sad all the same.
