Maybel
By SubwayBoi
Her words are often very harsh, She lacks a certain grace. You notice giant things on her, Like the mole upon her face. She acts all cold and laughs a lot, At other people's flaws. You wouldn't want to find yourself, Between her sharpened jaws. She dresses well and talks a lot, In fact she rarely stops. She speaks to me as though she'd like To whack me with a box. If you just met this pretty lass, You'd think she's awful mean. If you had known her longer still, She'd be a Drama Queen. But I don't hate this girl I know, Like doctors hate the flu. In fact I think she's pretty cool, And I know she loooooves me too. So let's make peace, oh Maybel dear, Let's put the past aside. I don't just say this 'cause you know, About a certain guy. I think we'd be the best of friends, We'd walk along the sand. We'd fall in love and kiss madly, Then walk off hand in hand. Actually, forget that part, I don't think it would work. 'Cause you think I'm a stupid whore, And I know you're a jerk.A lot of people have commented to me that my poems rhyme too often, and that the rhymes are predictable. To them I say that I make my poems rhyme when I want them to be fun, and if they have a problem with that, they can stick a wooden spoon up their anus. Enjoy!
