Paul & Jenn's Superterrific Happy Rave!!
By SubwayBoi
The IGA right up the street, Has moved across the town. The people go for food there now, And competition frowns. But up the street a void exists, Where the store used to be. It's empty now, with dust inside, For all the town to see. As days go by no one quite knows What do to with this space. It just was always there, they say, When things were in their place. One day my buddy Jenn and I, Were walking up the lane. We both were talking of the past, And eating candy canes. We looked inside the store of old, And wondered what to do. And then it hit us like a truck, We thought of something new. We'd take the store that people knew, Where people shopped like slaves, We'd change it all and put up lights, And we'd hold our own raves! We'd clear it out, with little help, And clean out the inside. We'd put in lights and disco balls, And make tickets to buy. We'd set up chairs and tables, too, For selling people water. They'd be displeased, we often thought, When they saw "$20 a bottle". We'd take some pills and paint them red, That munchkin Jenn and me. We'd paint them blue, and green, and white, And pass them off as E! They'd buy them by the bowlful, fools, For only if they knew, We'd taken them and dipped them in Lysol, and Javex too! But they'd have fun there just the same, If you know what I mean. Because, you see, the bestest part, Is that we'd sell ice cream! When people have an ice cream cone, You always see them smile. And they'd eat it and just forget, How crappy our rave is, for a while. So Jenn and I must get to work, There's much more to be seen. Just come to Paul and Jenn's Superterrific Happy Rave, And you'll get your ice cream!Don't even ask. Written January 9th, 2002 © on Jan 09 2002 12:31 AM PST 18 • 0 • 14
