teaching me to dream
By SubwayBoi
In times when people seldom think, To act out what they dream. There are two people that I know, As friendly as ice cream. There's one who teaches kids to dance, Who never seems to rest. She's such an awesome planner, And she loooves the Bradford Fest. She's so cool under pressure, And she'd never grab a gun. She has two boys, she teaches well, Her name's Ms. Morrison. The other guy is awfully calm, He's someone you might know. He puts on plays with seeming ease, He's Mr. Bainborough. He made me sing back in the day, Though I put up a fight. But he made up for all of that, When the autumn moon was bright. So thanks go to the both of you, For dreaming things with me. Though now I leave, I say I know, More of what I can be.Thanks to two teachers who made high school meaningful. Written January 23rd, 2002 © on Jan 23 2002 05:30 AM PST 18 • 0 • 12
