thirty-six hours from bliss
By SubwayBoi
Thirty-six hours ago I was in your arms. Safe, secure, warm, And all that nonsense. It was dark outside then, Five am or so. Time passed faster Than men of science could understand. We were surrounded with plesant smells, Colourful images, Wonderous delights. The smell that plagues me had vanished Replaced by your pheromones. All was well. The sun rose. Thirty-three hours ago You were accross the room. Scared, angry, cold, And all that rationality. It was light outside now. Time began to slow. We were surrounded by empty beer bottles, Pizza boxes, And seemingly dead bodies. The stench returned. All was chaotic. The sun set. Twenty-one hours ago I was alone again. Depressed, afraid, nostalgic, And all that emotion. It was dark outside again And time was stopped forever. I was surrounded by four empty walls, A photograph, And thoughts of you. Your smell still surrounded me; I hope it never goes away. All was gone. All is gone.Do yourself a favour, and don't have sex with someone while drunk at a party if you have feelings for them, but they don't have any for you. Casual sex only works well when both parties are equally apathetic towards one another. Written November 18th, 2001 © on Nov 18 2001 03:08 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
