Imperfect Love

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

There within her thoughtful mind in perfect imperfection lay love. There, desire allows her mouth to laugh at its readiness. Giddy at the thought of touching him again the fine smooth texture of his skin. His deep dark eyes such mystery holds and the entire world seems to unfold for her, with him. Oh, imperfect love, Be not afraid to let her in Loving you is not a sin But must she always lose to win and have to start over with you from the beginning again...and again... His soft honey brown skin drinks her in and she lives once more with the melding of mind, body, spirit, and soul. Intricate mass of muscle and mind A love like no other she ever will find. Though frailities and flaws he does possess Passion Pure remains An ocean could not contain her love. While images of the past stay strong the present the future do belong To her Imperfect Love Written March 3rd, 2002 © on Mar 02 2002 11:12 PM PST   0 • 8
