As I walk alone
By TaraKM
As I walk alone, Where I may ponder, Think of the days proceedings, And wonder if my choices were just, To solicit for my Lord's approval, Curiously envisaging my thoughts, Visualizing their consquences and injustices, What makes me good, answer me Lord, Tell me if I am where you wish me to be, Tell me if I do what you would like for me too, The Lord is my purpose, And I am his sheep, And as I walk alone, My shepard guides me, He'll teach me of right and of wrong, Of love and of hate, And put peace to a mind of ordinary contridiction, Of thoughts that conform but disobey, And for minds uncertainity of decisions yet to be made, Of lessons yet to taught and prayers yet to be answered, So it is as I walk alone, That I am to think, Within my own little head, Thoughts of past and what is yet to be created, Life is so interesting, That as we live it, We really never know if our choices are our own, If they belong to us or belong to God, As all things do, Lord, may you teach me your ways, And be my guiding light, But please Lord, please, Let me make the preference to abide by you by your rule. For that makes me a humble follower of your loving grace. Amen. Written April 19th, 2002 © on Apr 19 2002 03:37 PM PST 0 • 12
