How does thou love me?
By TaraKM
Tell me why thou loves me, Let me, count the ways, Tell me why thou loves me, You're still so, far away, Tell me what you feel for me, Come closer now, I feel thee yet, Tell me what you feel for me, You are nearly there, but not, You are the one and the only, But not heartfelt, You are the one and the only, Let me feel thy presence, Sweat touch, breeze by thy skin, Let me feel thee deep within, You emotions are strong now, My soul embraces you, Yes, you have won my heart, It is yours too keep, But should you abuse it, Then my soul won't sleep, It will then haunt you down, And once you're within it's grasp, You will give thine own heart to mine, And be thine own till the end of time, But will you wish it, As if I let you choose, Then never again, Will my heart you lose, You'll take each breath, And feel each moment, And giveth unto me, To keep for eternity, But even that, Could not make up for, The pain you'd cost me, If you broke my heart, Like it was ripped from within my chest, Now, I feel you not, Once again, tell me why you love me, Let me count the ways, Were they sincere, Did you love or abuse my love, Well suffer not and be thy one and only, Because this is a dream of a torn mind. Now tell how dost thou love me, Count thy ways, Take me within your grasp, And never will I go a-stray.This poem is written from the perspective of deciding whether to love and how to love and that if one loves what will become of that love; as the mind behind the poem scatters between the decision of whether love is worth it.
