The Puzzles of Life
By TaraKM
When all of the world is against you, And the pieces don't seem to fit, Believe in the power to hope, Until sunshine returns again. When it all seems dark, And you think none understand, Believe in a friend, To lend a helping hand. When your mind cries out in pain, And life laughs in your face, Have a little faith in yourself, To hold everything in place, When life is a puzzle, And the pieces are brutal, Trust in the strenght of God, To smooth out the rough edges. As you read this poem please use my artwork as the basis for understanding why I wrote this poem. The poem and drawing is of a child reaching out from within a puzzle; as if he is trying to put his life back together. This poem was written because everyone has made mistakes, and we just have to trust in God to "piece" our lives back together. Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 19 2002 12:15 PM PST 0 • 12 • 5
