When God designed the Universe He knew that man would be a creature Predestined to perdition; So even before he drew up the blueprints of Creation, Before He even laid out the cornerstone Of this place man now calls, ‘home’... He set about in heaven To create a celestial race He fashioned them out of His own loving essence Out of innocence, love, and pure phosphorescence. He gave them a special role... To be men’s spiritual companions And guardians of the soul. They guide us through our darkest days And even though they are invisible Their light shines on us from their celestial dome. Like the sun’s rays.. To lead our poor misguided steps To the boundaries of Paradise Should we pause and heed their celestial call.
