Aurora( a Challenge Poem)

By The Golden Pen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

She dresses in her golden gown, Elegantly saluting the Morning Star.. While pheasants and aristocrats alike pay her homage. Her eyes gleam like a beacon, Forming a light show upon the horizon As a proud heaven heralds the presence of their youngest daughter. With envy and rage, Night curtseys heaven’s youngest daughter, envious of her golden curls and billowing golden gown Secretly concocting a plan with midnight and unbeknownst to the horizon, To take vengeance upon the Princess of the Morning Star. Scheming diligently to dim forever the sun’s beloved beacon. Blessed by her eyes' eternal beacon, And delighted upon the regal beauty of heaven’s youngest daughter, With bended knees they all do homage, Enthralled by her innocence and beauty of Princess of the Morning Star. Indeed, Indeed she graces Mother Nature and honors the horizon, As she dances in the violet dawn, twirling in her golden gown. The stars, the sun, the angels too and queen of the horizon Looks down with gentle eyes, bestowing upon heaven’s youngest daughter A simple yet divine grace with a halo that outshines her eternal beacon Baptizing her Aurora, Princess of the Morning Star, Dressed in her regal golden gown, Crowning her...Princess of the Morning Star For months night and his nocturnal court plot against Princess of the Morning Star, In a bloody scheme to overthrow the reign of heaven’s youngest daughter, Dimming out completely the sun’s beloved beacon, Murdering Aurora, pride and joy of the horizon Delighted by the fact that from hence forward Nature will do them homage. As a mournful Earth mourns their Princess, buried in her golden gown; Yes, upon Aurora’s death, everything in Nature will pay homage To night and his nocturnal court while the heavens and the horizon Will mourn forever the demise of their beloved daughter, buried forever in her golden gown, Pale-faced and devoid of all life, the earth misses her eternal beacon, and bemoans the death of Aurora, Princess of the Morning Star. Heart-broken the citizens of the Morning Star, Still pays their beloved princess homage, The lovely Princess, Aurora, heaven’s youngest daughter Who rose in early twilight clad in her golden evening gown, Twirling round and round as a proud heaven offered her to the horizon. and blessed her with the gift of an eternal beacon Yet, behold, their wicked plan was unearthed by a clever horizon, Who immediately took action after appealing to heaven, paying respect and homage, handcuffed night and his nocturnal crew, as Aurora danced, twirling in her golden evening gown.An ode to Morning!
