Baptism in Eden

By The Golden Pen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

‘Twas a picturesque morn in the Garden.   A gilded smile from a chubby- cheek-ed star   Warmed all creatures in Eden.   In the atmosphere the finest music ever   Filled all the earth with joy and happiness;   The roar of a crystal-clear waterfall     Echoed in the background     Like the clashing of a cymbal,     A sharp and bold sound,     Forming a powerful crescendo!     The  single song of a lark nearby     Completed the heavenly concerto.     All creatures attended the sacred ceremony...     The wedding nuptials of Earth and Sky.     In the cool waters of Eden’s Euphrates River,   Two lovers bathed in joy and splendor.     Absorbing all of Eden’s beauty.     Lovingly they held each other     Whilst the mighty waters  cleansed them gently;     White- washing the first sin from their bodies,     Hoping beyond all hope that Heaven would smile and justify     What Adam soiled by his disobedience.       They became one with nature       They joined Lord Earth and Madam Sky       In their sacred ceremony.         The combustion of skin against skin,       Released the monster primeval       That lurked deep within       With a hunger and a passion left unbridled.       Underneath this baptismal shower       They washed themselves clean       With the cleansing waters of love’s power.       In the soothing waters, warm and aquamarine       They were born again as a couple!               The man, leaning against his lover,         Kissed her tender parts         As they listened to a song sung by a heavenly choir         Played with the steady bongos of their hearts;         Tenderly placing his lips against her navel         Blessed the seed  growing deep within her.         Lovingly he lost himself inside the female..         Dying a slow and happy death,         Only to resurrect once more!         In ecstacy she let out a joyful sigh,       Whilst  the babe stirred within her and greeted its mother       With a soft and contented cry     Mary Gonzalez (c) 20000 Written November 5th, 2001 © on Nov 05 2001 08:59 AM PST, Mary Aris   0 • 8
