By God's Design...a Tribute to My Mother..
My mother came down from heaven, Eminated from the bossom of God Selected of all angels to be my mother, my best friend. On the day that I was born she beheld me as the most precious flower, And held me tight against her breast and lovingly bathed me with love's maternal shower. In her heart she made a promise to do her very best To attend to the work God had chosen for her. Through the years she has kept her promise, To protect, correct, and love her precious rose Every day she has kept her Word to cherrish The babe that in her womb found sweet repose. I stand a woman of my mother's design, Proud of the lady who has chosen me To be the flower of her love divine. No greater love under heaven can there be.. I am the woman, beautiful, proud, and fine.. Thanks to mother's unfailing duty Of weaving me ,thread by thread, into the tapestry Of God's Design. I stand in awe of her.. Proud to be her daughter! mary Gonzalez (c) 2002 Written February 15th, 2002 © on Feb 15 2002 12:23 AM PST, Mary Aris 0 • 8
