Christmas Morning
Dressed in whimsical clothing, Nature wakes us once again Unto an enchanting morning.. Beckoning to all children.. Young and old to come pouring Down the stairs this Happy Day! Underneathe her petticoat, the Christmas tree reveals What treasures Santa Claus brought on Christmas Eve. All throughout the living room the sound of squeals From little John and Steve With eyes ajar and mouth wide open They dive underneathe the Tree; And Father and Mother, arm in arm, look on As wrapping papers, ribbons, tags fly And gladden hearts smile with happiness...What fun! Ah, the wonder...Oh, the joy! Christmas has begun, Mother serves hot cocoa! Merry Christmas, every one.
