Open Your Heart to Literature

By The Golden Pen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

OPEN YOUR HEART TO LITERATURE Open your heart to Literature It will open new doors for you A whole mine of literary treasures Await just for you On the shelves of your local public library; There is magic in each and every literary Masterpiece Every book will enchant your mind and soul With a fascinating spell That will leave you spellbound and mystified Upon reading tale after breathtaking tale; Open your heart to great Literature It can fulfill an insatiable need Of knowledge and sagacity No other love can quite compare To the love of great literature. A book is like a treasure chest Of life's great intellectual wealth In books you will discover All the answers to life's queries, hopes, and mysteries; It is amazing what you may uncover In between The covers of so many Classic Masterpieces that you read At your local public library; Books are a magic carpet ride Which will take you places that you've never been An open book is like a rainbow When you get to the end you'll soon possess A great intellectual treasure A sense of knowledge, power, wonder and adventure!
