Song of the Bride and Groom
Song of the Bride and Groom My heart sings A Merry tune.. A tune of love, as my soul grows wings Soaring high, Soaring far where the horizon meets the sun A bird, My soul becomes... Flying high upon the Horizon To listen to the Wedding Canticle Song of the Bride and Groom... And bear witness to Love’s Miracle The Mystery of Unity! Joy, Joy! The robin in my heart does cry, A lovely melody as it hovers by! The church is dressed in Daffodils; The sun shines through the windowsills The temple fills With hymns of love and wedding melodies of joy and love and glee... And God himself conducts the Symphony, while Cherubs sing the Wedding Canticle, As the congregation sing the homily... Seraphims play merrily on high and With peals of bells, The Church fills with a sweet cadence, And the Holy scent of inscence. From on high the congragation hears the angels, With the humming of violins, they play their chords as they sing.. Song of the Bride and Groom, Song of the Bride and Groom on golden harps with silver cords! All sing high in one accord.. With Joy and rapture, With Joy and rapture, singing loud and clear all in Nature.. as the Bride and Groom begin their Ceremony... The Mystery of Love...the merging of man and woman.. Two souls becoming ONE! Mary Gonzalez (c)2002I call my style the "Mary" Sonnet! 26 lines with two groups of couplets with the last quatrain unrhymed and ending in another couplet."
