The Aquamarine
The ocean reeks inside of you, The spitting Image of Posidon! I look upon your surface of greenish/blue And see the depth of the ocean Clear as a mirror Revealing the mysteries of ocean floor Reflected upon the blue horizon With reverence and awe I listen To the sound of the waves against your shore And behold your ancient beauty Instilling in me a calmness so soothing and serene. Deep blue and crystaline, Your beauty radiant, eminating love and peace, With a breath-taking sheen Giving off vibrations that will never cease to amaze the wearer of this aquatic stone Engulfing the wearer with a wave of mystic blue The mermaids know of this precious metal, Cultivated under the sea in ancient aquatic mines that no mortal has dared to reach this precious commodity Guarded by dolphins, The goldfish miners dig all day Wagging their irredescent fins being careful of a foray The ocean shines in different hues From rich deep green To shades of blues.. Radiation from deep below the ocean's surface, The sea reveals its secret... Spitting pounds and pounds of aquamarine Unto the seashore bucket after bucket!
