The Origin of Sin

By The Golden Pen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sex is not sin, Heavens...NO! There is divinity in pleasure, Giving your skin a healthy glow, And your soul much rapture! Sin was born rather out of blame When Adam blamed his wife in Eden Out of a lack of shame To own up to his resposibility... This was indeed the seed of sin; Implanted within the womb of humanity By an angry God who only wanted to hear the truth Rather than the thorns of denial. Sex was the ultimate fruit of life, The food of paradise for Adam to enjoy But he forfeited this fruit to listen to his wife.. Who in turn listened to the Evil One instead of God's voice Temptation was his downfall....Denial... his sin...He had a choice! As a result of their disobedience..they unleashed the power of Death..
