Sweet Waters

By the white cloth

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

From the depths of our hearts From even deeper; our souls We’ve found this sacred fountain From whence this sweet love flows The waters that are bubbling Like a spring for me and you Refreshing our very spirits By the things we say and do I drink of your love daily And you bathe yourself in mine We nourish one another And our hearts do seem to shine Each day we have each other Gives Heaven a new name Each night we share our passions Another spark to this great flame Your eyes they do excite me Your flesh drives me so wild Your voice is music to my soul And I feel quite like a child Your hands explore my body And mine find their way to yours And you wonder just what you might find When you rummage through my drawers Some nights we find the kinky side And others we know sweet peace This magic love just seems to grow Those sweet waters to release One thing I’ve come to count on To know beyond a doubt Is that the love we share between us Is what life is all about.
