The Other Guy

By theninthpawn

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Why did you never tell me Why did we grow so close How long would you have waited I thought you were MY rose Who is this guy that you met How is he really THAT great? I still cant see the reason why You want him as a marriage mate I know that if I met him I would probably like him too Although I would ask myself Does he really love you as I do? Will he truely care for you Can he fullfil you every desire Will he put you on high Is he someone you can admire What if theres a mistletoe above Or when the lights turn dim Does he really deserve your love Why'd you give your heart to him Sometimes I just get these feelings I am sure that he is a great guy But at times I start to ask myself wouldnt it be nice if he would just dieMan, what really bites, is that I found out about this the day before I was going to ask her. Wish something good would happen to me sometime this year, so I could try writing about something happy. Written February 5th, 2002 © on Feb 05 2002 02:42 PM PST   18 • 0 • 1
