Cathedrals

By thespin

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Spears thrown from on high. Sprouting upwards towards the sky. Short, tall, and lean. Clothed in different shades of green. Roots firmly grounded. By Mother Earth surrounded. Primeval armies grouped together. Withstanding all sorts of weather. Protecting Earth, Sky, and Air. Cut down, burnt and left bare. God's cathedrals sacrificed on an alter of wood. Because Man has never understood. Earth,Sky,Water,Stars,Moon, and Sun. Are all armies of one. Written October 14th, 2001 © on Oct 14 2001 01:12 AM PST   0 • 13
