not many chances are given in life to express what you feel deep down but when those chances are given to me the words just can't be found to tell someone the truth about what eats away inside that takes a lot of love but the truth is so easy to hide since the road that's always taken is to tell those harmful lies there's always more to follow when the tears fall down at night i never know when they'll hit always coming from behind i take those chances given to me and push them far aside always missing on what could have been that moment that can change a life but maybe my tunnel is short this round and on that road a ray of light so when i get my chance again i'll know which road is right i'll look again for those thoughtful words and realize, the words were always in sight Copyright © Sean Philip Davis Written somewhere between late 1999 and early 2001, I can't remember. © on Feb 11 2002 03:25 PM PST, Sean Philip Davis 0 • 18 • 12
