May 16, 2001 ~ Killing Time ~ Out from the House There Holds a Man Like Spring in Darkness Seasons of a Melting World All Is in Disarray With as Much Desire as a Man About to Jump Twenty-five Stories ~ Beyond All this Gloom Trouble Certainly Does Brew He Counts Denials Like Grains of Rice Though I Know Someday He Shall Weep Sands of Dunes Shift Daily among His Winds ~ And as Dead Hands Reach out to Hold There Shall Be No Receiver to Grasp on He Will Die in a Hiss of Flames And Be Swallowed Beneath the Grave Buried on a Shoulder of a Hill Blackbirds and Lowly Creatures Will Become Listeners ~ The Water Will Hold the Sea Gulls for Me in Waiting With Wind Blowing Cold Yet I Shall Wait out this Storm I'll Sit by the Open Window of this World And Wait Observing All and Witness the Mystery of Fate ~ Time to Kill Killing Time Awaiting Stars Falling Cold from the Heavens Hands Folded upon My Lap Yes Killing Time If I Only Knew Just How Much Time ~ The Men Will Stumble With Spades in Hand Digging Torn and Alone He Will Lie Snow Will Cover Him Where Grasses Chose Not to Grow The Dew Will Ring Each Day as Sun Sets upon Grave ~ No Deliverance for Those That Prey upon the Weak He Left His Burning Bride Years Ago As She Was Still Drenched in Lovely White Her Voice Soft and Feathered To Have Them Plucked Away One by One Nothing Left but Pocked Flesh ~ The Wind May Be Strong Yes But Sun Burns Brighter Cold Can Bite at Flesh But Sun Brings with it New Life Rain Can Flood a Grave But Never Fill a Memory Filled So Much with Pain ~ Her Hands Were Beautiful Sleek Slender Fingers Now Twisted with Age Eyes So Blue Making Both Seas and Sky Jealous Voice Once So Sweet Now Bitter with Age That Cannot Go Away ~ Rest Will Come One Day And She Shall Be Taken Sweetly Away Life May Have Been Cruel But Death Will Bring Everlasting Peace You Will Be Loved Again So Sadly it must Come with Sorrow to Those Who Love You ~ Thom Written May 16th, 2001 © on Jun 02 2001 05:30 PM PST 0 • 1
