In All My Dreams

By tigerlilly

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Around the clock, there is no hour you are not here in dreamtime’s bower, in wistful thoughts and midnight scenes… I sense you here, in all my dreams. This is where I see your face, you smile at me…then we embrace. Our cup is filled with new love’s wine… I am yours, and you are mine. Then passion’s embers flash to flames, desires so wild, we seek to tame… through heart and mind, meeting soul to soul, we strive as one, toward rapture’s goal. Yet all too soon, the moment’s passed, we both awake…and know at last, it matters not how far it seems… we’ll always meet here in our dreams.comments and critiques welcomed Written January 18th, 2002 © on Jan 18 2002 02:27 AM PST   0 • 8
