It's So Quiet Here (with photo)

By Timothy Cameron

A Friend said, 'When the student is ready, The teacher appears'. When the patient is ready, The doctor presents his bill. I am answerable for what I say, You, for what you perceive. Don’t chatter to me of love. Just sit with me. Handle me, with you. So I pour out prayer, confusing entreaty, Thinking it is treatment. When it is, In point of fact, Hopes' toll-road proceeding act. But you would rather stay in the hospital for Me? Asking my eyes a hundred whys?  Why?  Why?  A hundred whys.  Why you are here, Fighting widowhood. Be with me now totally. How would you feel about The person who made the call? Who said your brother is dying, From outside my room, out in the hall? Handle me with you, just be here, now. Riddle my soul, Tommy, shot with your questions. Why is he going away, With holes in his arms? And legs? And feet? And neck? And...head? Just let me look at you. It’s so quiet here, With just you reading me, spiritually. I loved you for years. In God’s economy, Nothing is wasted, If you touch another. Handle me with You. I can't see you now, But I know you are here. Being real. Thanks for shaing your heart. It is so quiet here.Does it touch your heart?
