Tomorrow's pain

By Tonic451

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

In my hated past and so I hate it more today Life was cruel, too unjustful, so unjoyful For me to take and bear it's cold harshness These days were so long as if it were an eternity in which I lived in a deeper sorrow than most have ever lived My heart so poisoned from my own hate and rage Against all the world, I torn my soul to save myself From this misery I cursed everyday that gave me such pain Can tomorrow bring a better day, I would ask life so mournfully Why hate so passionfully and not so passionfully love? Love is something I can only fathom but never truely know You're eyes are wet, which makes you blind to love's sight Weep no more, tears be gone, then you'll see love's light Written October 24th, 2001 © on Oct 24 2001 01:05 AM PST   0 • 10 • 1
