Revolving Bubbles
By Tracy Baxter
I hate the force that has now taken hold of my life, Each day orchestrated with no thought to my own dreams, Reality only misconceptions of missed opportunity, And direction an order of superiors, How do I get out? I want to sign away from this life to what was my past, But there are no directions of where to go, No understanding from those to what I need, Revolving bubbles tightly held to each other, Ever circling safety nets, Cushioning every action, Pushing back into place every move, Please, I just want to be let go Written May 31st, 2001 © on May 30 2001 11:35 PM PST 0 • 12
