Finally Comfy.... I think!?
By trayseelynn
After the lights have been turned out my clothes, on the floor, I stumble about. For the bed, I am reaching, my fingers extend, turn back the covers and slide my legs in. I'm freezing, the coldness, has frozen my nose. It's gone from my fingers, right down to my toes. My lips are all blue now, my teeth start to chatter. Trembling, quivering, my bones loudly clatter. I'm hoping these covers will warm me up fast. The ice in the air I breath, better not last. Cover my head, I'm breathing quite deep. Warming myself up by the heat that I keep. Finally, the color returns to my face. Wrapped up in my blanket's warm embrace. Tightly around me, I can't hardly breathe. But the comforter has my coldness relieved. I'm beginning to feel my toes once again and slowly the warming process finally begins. The shivering, quivering, has finally stopped. An ice-cicle, popcicle, frozen, I'm not... Oh my goodness, I'm all cozy in bed. Finally able to lay down my head. As soon as I'm ready to finally go back to sleep, DAMN IT TO HELL!!! I have to go pee!don't ya hate it when you are freeezing cold and you take forever to finally get warm and then you realize you forgot to pee before you got into bed? LOL!
