I'm sorry.

I walked through your life You said it was really bad And actually, it is sort of sad Losing your mom when you were only five Thinking there was no meaning to be alive Being hated by your dad Him abusing you, and always being mad Your brothers always ignoring you From this, no acceptance grew. . Your sister having a baby when it was her freshman year To my eye, it brought a tear You having to get out on your own Wandering through the world, helpless, and alone Getting a job while you were twelve years old Everyone yelling, and to you commands were told Doing that until you graduated school Kids picking on you, calling you a fool Living in a broken down house No kids, nor a spouse Making progress, in a solitare way Not for long this would stay. You found the girl of your dreams The girl only in fairy tales it seems You had a family, a loving one indeed But, too many mouths for you to feed Your two kids got taken away Never seeing them, your life would fray Your wife died of diease when you were twenty three This isn’t how life is supposed to be. Just I wish you could have known That. .you aren’t and never were alone Life gets better in the end If it’s not better it’s not the end And I wanted to let you know You were always my best friend.I was talking to someone last month, and I got a story from it, and it was pretty sad, it was sorta like what this poem is about. I just want people to know, that life isn't meant to be horrible, and, in the end everythings better, if it's not, it's not the end. Written January 20th, 2002 © on Jan 20 2002 06:35 AM PST 0 • 12
