You Think. .Becuase You Don't Know

you say all you live is a lie you say you nothing's left but to die you say your life of all is the worst you say you always have to be first You think, you need this chocolate bar Because, you're starving, and you can't wait an hour to eat Remember. .some little girl in a corner Not eating for 3 days, sitting there thinking she'd like some meat You want. .this brand new dress To go with the other 50 you have at home Remeber. .some kid is dying, in rags While sitting in the dirt, feeling all alone You neeeed. .this diamond ring To match with some clothes you'll wear only one time Remember. .that kid is sitting there filthy Wishing they had not a ring. .but a nickle or dime You have to get this new CD Because, it is so cool, something everyone's gota hear Remember. .he's sitting there defending his self Without a doubt about life, or even one fear You think. .gosh I wish I had a beautiful house With 4 stories, 3 bathrooms, maybe even a guest house outside Remember. .some kid's living in the world In a shack, cold, starving, living on nothing but pride You know you have got to get this awesome car Becuase. .it's so cool, and you'd look so good in that ride Remember. .that kid sitting out there Walking place to place, his feet about to die You have to come home at eleven Becuase your mom thinks thats an appropraite time Remeber. .he's out there somewhere Hoping someday he'll have a house, even to be home by nine You think you have a horrible life Because "nothing goes your way" Well remember there's someone out there Who has it worse, who died today Remember the children who starve to death . .Who don't have homes. .Who don't have moms and dads You think. .you need everything like "this" And you know thats really sad People go through Hell everyday And yet, things have to be your way It's an unfair time, in an unfair place Everybody won't agree, but look at the face Of a dying boy, who's ribs stick out Who, is smiling, becuase he had a meal last night While you're mad, kuz you havent ate in an hour, right?
