Rain Dragon

By Tyre

Rain dragon weave your mist and cry your tears Let heaven open its bounty free I laid apples under a willow tree That you may feast and bring to me your cheers A brave knight has lost his passion for fight Surrendering instead to live a ghost As one whose memories harbor a host Never seeing the dawn rise from the night Wilting sorrows bring heavily laid sleep Only to exhaust in wandering alone Seeking peaceful solace for hope to keep Before swallowed in war's torturous zone Rain dragon weave your mist for me inside That dark memories may have a place to hide Written November 16th, 2001 © on Nov 16 2001 12:22 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
