Welcome to My World

By Tyre

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Welcome to my world sweet passionate soul I have been waiting for you for so long My life has been lonely for many years Because it is in your heart that I belong I have longed to be with you, yet unknown To caress the beauty laying next to me And dream of you waking up by my side Eager to embrace the world cheerfully Like a safe harbor we may build our home To provide comfort within its cove A nest to house our ever growing peace With gardens leading to a special grove There we may rest to view our home afar And talk about what our hearts may decide Or walk in silence just knowing we care Very deeply with one another's pride Let our world be filled with your tender love Blending richly with all that I have to give That together, forever, we may know The true meaning of the love we live Written September 14th, 2001 © on Sep 14 2001 01:51 PM PST   0 • 8
