Sweet Goddess of My Soul

By Tyre

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Empty breezes expressed in the still air Often follows a hollowed heart in despair Grieving over the abandonment of emotions Viciously trapped in its ever growing cycles What hope has a man to regain his strength When none are willing to comfort in his affair With renewing compassion in a gentle wave Of passionate acceptance for him to brave Sweet goddess of my soul, I call upon you To descend upon my cravings for you to clutch In hungering desires to explode with your touch And build a bond together for life to endure Oh sweet, passionate goddess, your love I adore In your passionate acceptance I am now reborn With a newness of life from deep in your tenderness Evolving into an endless longing for evermore Written November 29th, 2001 © on Nov 29 2001 03:03 PM PST   10 • 0 • 8
