Come Again
By UTTubby
Another beam peeks through my blinds, morning has broken in just a matter of time. Bluebirds are singing like their chirping happily but a lonely squirrel sighs, listening to their tunes. Out my window the clouds slowly pass by my eyes, reflecting your brilliance smiling in the sky. I look beyond your light, shining above the glare, and listen to your sounds that echo. Oh! Another day has peeked ashore, showing its way through my life's door, for peeking through my window has shown daylight, dancing on the floor with its little beams. But...day after day often appears the same, just once again, I wish for the pouring rain. And...so he wanders back to his empty home, to be with his friend, loneliness.
