Cupid's Done

By UTTubby

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It's NOT just another day, but a special one for an arrow to strike- Aim and thrust from the bow strengthened from his fiery finger tips aglow, He's held gently by her eyes entwined in her arms as she's rocked the "cradle of passion" smiling and caressing his thoughts. She's fallen deeply from the thrust, held gently by his eyes. They unite beneath the stars, yet kissed by the sun, yet shadowed by moonlight, as they kiss. Cupid's done.
