Eyes in the Dark

By UTTubby

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My eyes closed, her's aglow in the dark, Sparkling purity shone her silvery heart. Dancing amidst rain, lightning streaking around My eyes touch hers, forever no sound. Above mountains peeked, brilliantly her stare, Her eyes in gleam, shown her love with care. Beyond the oceans drifting beyond waves, Among the heavens, perfection in glaze. Her eyes diamond cut, smoothed by my touch, Year after year her eyes shone so much. Night after night, shown clearer to me, Day after day, I see eternity. I sigh and I dream, and forever I'll see Through my sight she's held closer to me. Her eyes near mine, she glows in the dark, My eyes near hers, heart nearer to heart. © 2002 Dana Gallup (All rights reserved) Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 06:16 AM PST   0 • 8
