I Shall Never Say Goodbye...To Perfection

By UTTubby

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I shall never say goodbye to my mountain of poetry, bled from my heart with a little insanity, thrown to the wolves who prey at night, cast to the lions who partake of my right. Never shall I leave walking away "the end" 'cause of some whose words greatly offend. I've heard that the pen is almighty to sword but none taken offense, not here anymore. I'm engulfed by poems settled to rest torched like a flame from some of the best, but above it all I'm enriched and I smile perhaps sharing my thoughts for a little while. Wherever you roam to find your place I'm glad you've shared the best at pace, for many a poem are written from the heart and soul, where others drift from a mind made of gold. But...Perfection is in the eyes of the beholder. Written November 6th, 2001 © on Nov 06 2001 01:58 AM PST   0 • 10
