Oh! Butterfly

By UTTubby

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Whenever a butterfly flutters about, I wonder if it sees me smiling. And when it passes by my eyes, I wonder if it can hear me think aloud. Whenever it lights upon my skin, I wonder if it can read my mind. And as it flutters away to another, I wonder if it knows. Whenever I see a butterfly, I feel it dancing around. And to feel it brush upon my face, I suddenly come alive. Whenever I see a butterfly, It's so precious to behold. And when I dream of a butterfly, I dream of you.
